Tuba City Chapter is located on the western side of the Navajo Nation in the Western Agency. The community of Tuba City is second to Shiprock in terms of population on the Navajo Nation. Tuba City is probably the one community in the United States, which maintains two different times for two different time zones. When the Navajo Nation follows most of the America changing to daylight savings time, the State of Arizona and the Hopi Reservation (including the community of Moencopi) keep with Mountain Standard Time. Most Government services "go daylight", while the commercial establishment usually keep with the standard time "so as not to confuse tourists".
The Tuba City Chapter conducts monthly meetings to keep residents informed; residents have a forum to express their opinions to their Navajo Nation Council Delegate or to decide on matters concerning their chapter.
